First Announcement of 2025: H2 Storage Option Permanently Removed
Apache SkyWalking has removed H2 as a storage option in 2025, replacing it with the production-ready BanyanDB. BanyanDB offers better performance, cloud-native compatibility, and scalability, ensuring a consistent and reliable storage experience. Users are encouraged to migrate to BanyanDB for modern observability needs.
